RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop frontend interfaces for Magento 2 websites
• Customize and build Magento themes/templates
• Work with Hyvä Theme to optimize website performance
• Use KnockoutJS to handle Magento UI components (default framework)
• Convert designs (Figma/Adobe XD) into HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Optimize website performance (Core Web Vitals, PageSpeed)
• Fix frontend bugs and improve UI/UX
• Integrate with REST APIs / GraphQL from Magento backend
• Ensure responsive design across mobile, tablet, and desktop

REQUIREMENTS

Must - have 

• At least 2 years of experience as a Frontend Developer
• Hands-on experience with Magento 2 frontend
• Strong proficiency in:
  • HTML5 / CSS3 / SCSS
  • JavaScript (ES6+)
  • KnockoutJS
• Experience in building or customizing Magento themes/templates
• Good understanding of Magento UI components
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Good English communication skills

Nice - to - have: 

• Experience with Hyvä Theme
• Experience with Tailwind CSS (used in Hyvä)
• Experience with other frontend JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus
• Understanding of Magento layout XML
• Experience working with GraphQL
• Knowledge of performance optimization
• Experience handling Magento backend tasks
