About Our Client

Client’s headquartered in Canada with an established local office in Ho Chi Minh City, is a recognized global leader in airline passenger reservation and cargo management software. 

ENGAGEMENT MODEL & TERMS

• Working Model: Hybrid – Office located in Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
• Working Schedule: Monday to Friday.
• 2 fixed onsite days: Tuesday and Thursday during Vietnam business hours.
• 3 flexible working days: 8 hours per day, with flexibility to work evening/night shifts when required, as the team collaborates with both Canada and Vietnam. Performance is evaluated based on work quality and deliverables rather than fixed working hours.
• Engagement Type: Freelancer/Service Contract
• Start Date: ASAP

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are hiring Intermediate to Senior QA Analysts specializing in hands-on manual testing, complemented by experience or strong interest in test automation. In this role, you will collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Managers to maintain rigorous quality control across our core platforms.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test Planning & Execution: Read and comprehend detailed technical documentation to author, expand, and execute comprehensive manual test plans.
• Automation Support (not a must): Work on automating test cases and assist in integrating automated frameworks into the QA pipeline where appropriate.
• Documentation & Training: Write clear feature documentation and author demo videos for training and knowledge transfer.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers to ensure end-to-end delivery of reliable software.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Adhere strictly to established software development processes to uphold reliability, performance, and customer expectations.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience & Skills:

• Upper-Intermediate (3 YOE) or Senior (5 YOE) level experience in Quality Assurance.
• Strong mastery of formal QA/BA methodologies and hands-on manual testing.
• Proven experience with RESTful API testing (manual) using tools like Postman.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
• Strong team player mindset, comfortable learning and executing within a synchronized cohort group.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to or hands-on experience with GUI/Web automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Katalon, Protractor, Mocha).
• Familiarity with ASP.NET Web API 2 environments.
