We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure and operations team. The right candidate should have great attention to detail, as well as experience with software deployment, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
We require a person with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Those skills must complement an ability and desire to learn new environments, technologies, and procedures.

ENGAGEMENT DETAILS (SERVICE CONTRACT)

• Working Type: Remote or Onsite Tan Binh, HCMC
• Engagement Type: Freelancer / Service Contract.
• Compensation: Up to VND 50M/month (Gross), calculated and paid based on the hourly rate worked.
• Minimum Commitment Period: 6 months.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continually improve our infrastructure deployment, configuration, and monitoring through tools and custom scripting.
• Administer and monitor existing production systems and networks to ensure stability and reliability, addressing any issues that arise.
• Reliably deploy our software suite to multiple environments, while keeping the platform stable.
• Make approved configuration changes to our environments when they are requested by customers or internal team members.
• Keep our environments secure and stable with regular software patching and maintenance.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent training/experience) in Software/Computer/NetworkEngineering Technology
• From 4 years of experience for senior level
• English: Good at communication skill
• Experience with Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems and open source tools
• Experience with blue/green deployment
• Knowledge and experience of working with public cloud providers, AWS is preferred
• Understanding the concept of Infrastructure as Code and experience to implement it
• Knowledge and experience of CI/CD methods and toolsets, such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or CodePipeline
• Knowledge & experience with containers, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
• Experience working in a Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment environment and familiarity with DevOps practices
• Experience using Git for version control
